Dump Truck Driver

Position Summary: A truck driver drives trucks for commercial freight and transport purposes. Truck drivers assemble, load, secure, and unload vehicles, transport goods, and materials, and perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance. They may be an owner-driver or drive company-owned vehicles. Truck drivers transport and handle a wide variety of materials. There are truck drivers that use small vehicles and others that drive very large road trains. All truck drivers, regardless of truck size or load type, are responsible for the stability of their load and require one or more special licenses.

CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting different types of goods from distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. They are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip and unload cased products from the trailer to customer facilities. These drivers also follow appropriate safety procedures to transport dangerous cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.

Lowbed Drivers

Position Summary: Earle Asphalt Company has an immediate opening for experienced, reliable Lowboy Driver with minimum 2 years exp. Must pass pre-employment drug test & physical and background check. Must possess a Class A CDL with clean DMV record, and DOT Medical Card. Must be familiar with safety and DOT regulations. Candidate must have experience with oversized loads and must keep vehicle operational by following operating instructions.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Loading and unloading, proper securement, and transport various types of equipment on trailers to customers job sites.
  • Experience hauling oversize loads.
  • Ensure equipment being transported comply with DOT regulations.
  • Operate lowboy trailer on sites including off of public highways.
  • Conducting all work activities in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE.

Earthwork Crew Laborer

Position Summary: Perform tasks involving physical labor at residential construction projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials. May assist other craft workers.

Earthwork Equipment Operator

Position Summary: The Earthwork Equipment Operator’s primary function is to operate multiple types of equipment. The operator must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. In addition, the operator may be required to perform minor repairs to the equipment and is expected to assist in the general operation of each job site.

Position Summary: Responsible for management of all aspects of the construction of the various projects at all stages. Must possess strong analytical, organizational, planning and communication skills with a commitment to high standards, integrity and ethics.

Project Manager

Position Summary: Responsible for management of all aspects of the construction of the various projects at all stages. Must possess strong analytical, organizational, planning and communication skills with a commitment to high standards, integrity and ethics. Support Construction Manager with technical detail and interpretations of project requirements. Supervise Project Engineer(s) assigned to the project.

Take-off Processor

Position Summary: Entry Level Position in which the candidate works with all members of the Engineering Department and/or other construction Departments in the Main Office, any of the active Field Offices, at the Plant, or other locations as needed and as available in order to complete Takeoffs, Solicitation, and As-builts of Construction Projects.
